Los Angeles’ OPANIN FM Set To Promote Ghanaian Music And Celebrities In USA

The Ghanaian music industry and showbiz in general has grown to an amazing acme that keeps people in yearn to outdoor their talents which fall under that umbrella. There have been unbelievable numbers of actresses, actors, musicians, rappers and singers that the industry has birth in recent times.
New faces keep showing up on screens and new voices are heard day in and day out.
On the average, talents in Ghana are incredible as people unleash them daily with the ardent support of the media in Ghana. I personally prophesy that, in the next five (5) years, the showbiz can earn some percentage to top up the economic gains of Ghana. The media, which has become very supportive in the promotion of the showbiz in Ghana cannot be left unrecognized and need a motherly path on their tender backs for their great support.

One of the media which is set to channel the promotion of the Ghanaian showbiz to an international par is Opanin Fm, United States of America and Los Angeles’ proud radio station. The radio station, which has gained great reputation in its delivery in the USA is set to deliver on ‘everything Ghana’. From great and classical music of yesteryears to contemporary, Opanin Fm is one which remains undefeated when Ghanaian communities in Los Angeles boast of patriotism.

The Ghanaian hailed Emmanuel Abroakwa, who mothers the station, is a Ghanaian and having so much attachment to the country, he represents the country wherever his 2 feet takes him. In his undying patriotism, he birthed Opanin FM to give Ghanaians in USA and across the world the definition of G.H.A.N.A.
In showing its preparedness for the promotion of Ghana’s showbiz in Obama’s land, David Nyamekye who is known on radio as DJ619, on his superb show has interviewed the pillars of the showbiz in Ghana. On the show last two weeks was one of Ghana’s finest promoter, Sleeky Vyrus who is known to be the main push behind VIP and Nhyiraba Kojo. Nana Kwesi Coomson, the controversial showbiz reporter and the man behind most of Ghana’s showbiz reveals was as well on the show. Just to add butter to the pudding, DJ 619 on 24th January, 2012, interviewed Mzbel on his show. The list of interviewed celebrities on his show continues endlessly.
