Asaasewura Santana Tops Central Region With ‘Akwaaba Drive Show’

Radio experience in the Central Region of Ghana has climaxed with the introduction of Live FM in the Metropolis. In two months of operation, Live FM has gained unimaginable number of listeners across the coast. One segment which the station can boast of is the Drive Show, which has all the commercial vehicles, homes and offices tuned to from 2-6pm.

The drive time show on Live FM 107.5 which was introduced on the new radio network in the central region in just about two months has become the most listened to drive show in the coastal lines of Ghana, Cape Coast.

The show which spans from 2-6 pm captures close to 80 percent listenership. It is hosted by Asaasewura Santana from Mondays to Fridays and comes with total inspiration, motivation, rib-cracking stuff, controversial drive talk. The rumour segment, ‘yese yese’ captures most attention in the Metropolis.  The host Gilbert Anaane Roland a.k.a  Asaasewura Santana, who has a sound alike with Abeiku Aggrey (Abeiku Santana) was initially mistaken for Abeiku Santana when he began his presenting career. Unless you have a long experience listenership with Ok Fm’s Abeiku Santana, you will mistakenly think you are on the Drive Show in Accra’s pride, OK FM, if you listen to Asaase Wura Santana.

The past student of Ghana Institute of Journalism, Asaase Wura Santana, has the same ‘plain-plain’ presenting skill as Abeiku Santa and that makes his listeners always drown in the mirage of listening to Abeiku Santa. No wonder he is known to be trained by Abeiku Santana.

Don’t forget to tune in to 107.5 Live FM when you are in Cape Coast.
