“Kwame Adinkra Did Not Deserve The Record Of The Year Award” Abeiku Santana

The hung over of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards still lingers in many as there have been several criticisms and appraisals over the awards. Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which crowned Sarkodie as the Artiste of The Year on 14th April, 2012, is still being accessed on Showbiz platforms.

The aftermath of the Awards had its way in the ship house where OK FM, Kwame Despite’s new media birth is. On the popular drive show which is hosted by Ghana’s number one presenter Abeiku Sanata, the winner of Record of The Year Category was examined by the presenter and producer, Appeitus.

The plain-plain Abieku Santa who never beats about the bush on his statement of which many call him Ghana’s brave clearly pointed out that, the award which went to Kwame Adinkra was not deserving. In his own words, Mr. Aggrey who told his listeners that, Kwame Adinkra who is a radio presenter himself has not even played his own song which won him the award more than 10 times on his show. According to the old student of Ghana National College, he had told him point blank that de did not deserve that award. Considering the nominees of that category, he was far from win as Abeiku, mentioned the nominees and asked that, how can he win that category with this fierce competition?

Appietus who was on phone with Abeiku Santa, the host, laughed over Abeiku’s statement and in a laughter talk, said that “I’ve known you for 15 years and you’ll still not change”, in a translation, Appietus said this in Twi.
