Eazzy, Keita And DKB To Represent Ghana @ Big Brother STARGAME

Peacefmonline.com has been the only eagle eye in the media on the upcoming Big Brother Africa (STARGAME) Season 7, right from the audition stage to who has been selected to represent Ghana this year in South Africa.

After Peacefmonline.com broke the news on Friday April 27, 2012, regarding the three Ghanaian representatives for this Season’s event, yours truly also promised to dig deeper into the story. Well, our investigations have finally revealed that indeed rapper and singer Eazzy of “Wengeze” fame and her model boyfriend Keita Osei are going to represent Ghana in BBA 2012 as the double housemates.

But the Celebrity housemate is rather upcoming Ghanaian Comedian and Television Presenter DKB host of “It Runs In The Family” game show on Viasat 1 and not PY Addo of “The One Show” fame on Viasat 1, as mentioned earlier.

Sources disclosed to Peacefmonline.com, Eazzy, Keita and DKB flew out of the country to South Africa last Saturday April 28, 2012, for the biggest blockbuster reality show on the African continent which airs on Sunday May 6, 2012.

Meanwhile, PY Addo whose name was associated in the initial story is still in Ghana and has denied any involvement in this year’s Big Brother Africa, when Peacefmonline.com spotted him over the weekend at Kokrobite Beach in Accra. He was also seen at the first all-Female Celebrities’ Charity soccer game at the El-Wak Sports Stadium on May Day. PY was all smiles for his colleague DKB adding that he believes that he (DKB) can go far in the game and promised to support him all through.

For those with no clue who DKB is, Derick Kobina Bonney is an upcoming Comedian and TV Presenter and host of the popular TV game show “It Runs in the Family” on Viasat 1. He also plays the role of an abusive wife called “Madam Kpelems” on the comedy show “Laugh a Minute” also on Viasat 1.

DKB was born in Accra on of 3rd September in the 80s. He started basic education at Universal Academy and moved to St. Anthony’s Preparatory School to continue from basic 5 till he completed Junior High School in 2001. He then continued at St. John’s Grammar School where he read Agricultural Science. He was awarded the Best I.T. student in his final year. He had a thing for entertainment in his high school days as he gradually established himself as a regular dance and rap performer during entertainment programs.

In 2005, he gained admission to the University of Ghana to read BSC. Agriculture and specialized in Post-Harvest Technology and he successfully graduated in 2009 with a second class honors. His journey in comedy started in the first year when he took part in a Comedy competition and managed to beat the winner of the competition.

He’s been on platforms like the “Night of 1011 Laughs and Music in Ghana”, Eddie Kadi Live in Ghana, Citizen Kofi Comedy show, he performed at the ‘MNET Comedy Club Lagos 2? which was aired to a global audience and other corporate events for Vodafone, MTN, Tigo etc. His rip-cracking comedy shows got him a well-deserved endorsement from Ghana’s all time King of Comedy, Kwaku Sintim Misa (KSM), and the former President of Ghana and a former AU Chairman, H.E. John Agyekum Kuffour.

On Radio he worked with YFM in 2010 and he currently hosts a comedy show on PLUZZ 89.9 FM in Ghana.

So, Peacefmonline.com can authoritatively confirm that the three housemates representing Ghana in this year’s Big Brother Africa (STARGAME) are Singer/Rapper Eazzy, her boyfriend Keita who is a model and a Fashion Designer and Comedian DKB… unless, the producers decide to pull a surprise on Sunday.

The whole of Africa is going to watch with keen interest for the next 90 days and decide finally who deserves to carry home the whooping $300, 000 cash prize. The first show airs on DSTV on Sunday May 6, 2012 at exactly 5pm. In Ghana the official launch will be at the Silver Lounge, Accra Mall on Sunday.
