“Enough of the Funky, It’s Time For AfroBeats” Ruff and Smooth

Trying to put them under a musical genre will be a conundrum. With just an album to their credit, the exceptional Ghanaian duo, Ruff and Smooth has not only built a Mount Everest fan base in Ghana, they have as well won the international lips.

The AfroBeats song from Ruff and Smooth will be the new trend many will unconsciously follow, this reporter can prophecy. Their prowess in making most Artsistes tow their way lies in their scads of excellent releases which many Artistes have emulated.

With the AfroBeats, Ahkan, the multitalented singer of the group told www.233times.net that, they are set to change the trend of Ghana Music with this genre. “We are setting the pace with the AfroBeats”, he added. Bullet buttressed that, “this is an introduction to our new brand which everyone should watch out for”

To poke the fans about the new song which is about to take Ghana Music on a volte-face, the chorus from Ahkan’s voice goes “some love hip hop, some love reggae, and some love rock and roll. Enough of the funky, me a know like techno and I cannot dance to rock and roll do DJ play me afrobeats”. Bullet’s usual amazing hook was at his very best as always. To set records straight, Ahkan pointed that, “we are the first to do an afrobeat musical genre”

Before the AfroBeats song from Ruff Money Record Label’s progeny, Ruff and Smooth  hit the airwaves, be supportive in advising your favourite Artiste to go to the studio and add up to the AfroBeats Genre.
