“Just As The Action Year Collapsed, So Shall The Atta Mills And His NDC……” Ursula Owusu

Ghanaians will be going to the polls again coming December to either maintain the ruling party or overthrow it democratically. Various Political Parties have already begun their campaigns on all the available platforms.

New Patriotic Party’s female guru and Human Rights Advocate, Ursula Owusu, on 25th May 2012, used her Facebook page to ‘prophecy’ the results of the December elections. The old student of Labone Senior High School updated her status to her 5,788 friends mentioning that “Just as the action year collapsed, so shall Atta and his NDC collapse under the weight of their incompetence, lies and propaganda. Out of the ashes, the phoenix will rise again. Victory 2012 for Ursula in Ablekuma South and NPP in Ghana”.

The aspiring Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South, Ursula Owusu received many comments from her friends on her status update; whereas some saw her as capturing the seat, others booed her win. December, which is 7 months away will determine whether Ursula Owusu’s political ambition would be fulfilled or not.

  1. The youth of Ghana deserve better life. Was shocked by the magnitude of street ism at Mallam Atta market at night. What future is ahead for these young people! This drift to the cities must be halted. We need affordable housing, good education, jobs for the youth. Our Local Government Structures must be enforced.
Those living in Accra have constant power cut and fluctuations. No pipe borne water in most parts with the spread of Cholera. Ghana is filthy with poor sanitation. It’s amazing the State of our Health institutions. The retrogression is incredible. Let us give hope to Ghanaians and vote wisely and candidates like Ursula should be given the chance to shape the future of our Youth!
