She has coined a name which is used by many love birds, her feature with Sarkodie sneaked to the nomination of the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, success with first timers which many of her colleagues envied, her outstanding stage craft is emulated by many and her eloquence makes her internationally appealing.
Raquel, the ‘Sweetio’ composer whose name is hardly escaped when thoughts of exceptional talents in Ghana surfaces will on Thursday 24th May, 2012 serve her Takoradi fans ‘dinner’ from her voice. With bigger fan base in Takoradi, the news about Raquel in the Oil City is as embracing as when the news of oil discovery first broke in the region.
Speaking to Creppy, the manager of Raquel, he posited that, “she is serving the hottest GH music live once more on the country’s most popular platform. Come and witness and dance to ‘Odo’, ‘Sweetio’, ‘Set me free’ among others. This is the biggest show to hit Takoradi”
Dubbed ‘Its Raquel Live @ Vienna City Taadi’, the show is powered by BlackStar SR Entertainment and supported by Takoradi’s pride, Kofi Kinaata of ‘Onnyi Chorus’ fame and Story tyme.
