Glamorous actress, Juliet Ibrahim over the weekend was awarded for her work with her Juliet Ibrahim Foundation at the inaugural Humanitarian Award and Dinner Dance held at the Vienna City lounge Bar and Restaurant, Accra under the initiative of Next Media Concept ‘NMC’ in collaboration with West Africa Regional Promoters Inc (WARPS).
“It’s a privilege to be the first honouree and I’m marveled at the turnout because I never knew I had such fans. The buffet was superb and the plague is beautiful, I thank the organizers for the wonderful concept and to my colleagues and family, I love you all. God bless all who made it to the event, Mwuah!!!” Juliet appreciated.
In an interview with Mr. Rahim Caesar Woods, the manager of Vienna City – Accra, we discovered that turnout was so massive to his amasement. He compared the turnout to events like Nigeria Independance Jam and some other events where they had to stop people from entering.
The event which aims at tackling all celebrities in West Africa has started already the tracking of celebs for its next honour. The ‘Humanitarian Award and Dinner Dance’ is designed to encourage the West African celebrities to give back to the society through any charitable means. “The concept is for celebs in charity and not a foundation hence any celebrity who does more for charity stands the chance to be honoured,” said Yemoh Ike, the concept developer.
James Gardner, Eddie Watson, Sonia Ibrahim (director of JIF), Tinny, FBS, Ruffy, Hammer, Confidence, Princess, Nadia, Kwadwo Sarfo II, among others helped to grace the occasion.
