Describing Ruff and Smooth as unassailable by this reporter only rests in the fact that, no word is possibly worth descriptive for the duo. From the inception of their float on the musical stream, the duo made of Bullet and Ahkan has become a magnet of ‘envy’ by most musicians who see the duo beyond their dream stages.
The 2012 edition of Planet Africa Awards program is set to showcase leadership and excellence at the Roy Thomson Hall on Saturday, October 27th. Aimed at identifying role models especially for the youth, the Planet Africa Awards will have senior world citizens present at the award’s night. The awards night which will begin with a VIP dinner will also have world class entertainment where Ghana’s proud 2 sons, Ahkan and Bullet will be caressing the microphone in the evening with their award winning songs.
The duo in an interview with this reporter, said they are so blessed to be on that stage because performing in there takes more than unique talent. “This is one of the best happening in the history of our musical journey and we are prepared to give our very best during that night”, in a chorus, Ahkan and Bullet added.
From Ghana, the ace actor, Majid Michel is scheduled to be present at the night. Kardinal hosts the night with Vica a fox Sam Sarpong expected to be present there.
Since 2004, the Planet Africa Awards has been achieved by honouring and celebrating the lives of individuals, organisations, businesses and agencies that make a profound difference in society and the lives of people of Africa. The awards which are presented in categories feature Leadership, Professional Excellence, Science and Technology, Community Develeopment, Nelson Mandela Humanitarian Award, Media and Entertainment, Rising star among others.
Ruff and Smooth canvases for support from Ghanaians, for their usual ardent support to thrill the auditorium that evening. Meanwhile Ruff and Smooth assures their United States fans that, their 25 States tour, dubbed ‘American Dream’ will have the best performance from their camp.
