DKB To Sue Asem For Defamation in his ‘Last Fyla’ Song

DKB

As he is gradually gaining for himself with his musical reportage ending of every year, Asem since last year brings on tape at the end of every year the updates in Showbiz as they happened in the year. These update via rap addressees some pressing issues and embarrassing ones in addition.

This year, the Alumni of Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) Asem, has stepped on a ‘funny’ toe. Derrick Kwabena Bonney (DKB), one of Ghana’s representatives at Big Brother Africa who was disqualified for assault in the house was featured in Asem’s ‘Last Fyla’ song. Known on TV as Madam Kpelems, DKB is having ‘soap opera’ of frowns over the expensive joke from Asem. Undeniably, this assault caused him from topping up his bank account with $200,000 and as well being dragged through mud by Feminists and watchers of Big Brother Africa.

In an interview with this reporter, DKB posited that, he is filing a law suit against Asem for bringing his name back for ridicule. “I will sue him soon for defaming my image and causing me to be ridiculed again” in his own words, DKB said. In the song, Asem mentioned that, “this year’s Big Brother, was between one boxer whose girlfriend never got a hair dresser and one bathroom slapper. DKB he really gave a mad slap, if not for the intervention, he would have done worse, Zainab’s cheeks got swollen like ‘poloo’, next time you won’t repeat it tomorrow”, translated in English Asem’s rap reported.

As a comedian who puts people’s names and images up for ridicule for living, many would suggest that, DKB should take it likely as Asem in the end of the song spoke out loud that “chale this one make nobody vex o, we they try ease tension for peaceful election” but this case in the pocket of DKB is outré. To DKB and his fans, the assault is NO JOKE!

So if Asem is blank on this, this reporter and www.233times.net is prompting him that, DKB is talking to his lawyers to put him in the court docket for DEFAMATION.
