‘Yenko Nkoa’ surfaced the Ewe Songster, Eduwoji and since then, his voice has been lost on the airwaves and screens of Ghanaian Media. People anticipated songs from him whilst some wondered if he was among the one-night hit makers.
The Ewe songster, Eduwoji has bounced back with his brother Ewe musician, Edem. In ‘I don’t Care’ which is a song he did to proof critics wrong, Eduwoji sounded more sarcastic on the song than usual. In the chorus, he asked “If I’m walking and not in a car, what is the worry of critics, if he is in African wear and not in European apparel, does it concern anyone……” The song which has been a topic of conversation for most Showbiz giants asks so many questions about it.
Some posits that, his ‘Yenko Nkoa’ hit is one of the major hit song the country has ever witnessed adding that, he could have even purchased one of the luxury Trassaco apartments with it and still have enough money to even gift a girlfriend an Infini M35X.
Hearing most of this statement from people, Eduwoji entered the studio to counter attack those painting his success based on his previous works. In an interview with www.233times.net Eduwoji who sounded more concerned about what others say about him mentioned that, “why would you live by accessing someone’s life whilst you got yours to live and that is the reason why I composed ‘I don’t care’”
“So is it because of what you hear others say about you that made you come out with ‘I don’t care’ or what?”, the number 9 Voltarian added that, “No!, these are daily activities that goes in life and you know am a conceptual musician so I always come out with good concepts that others can relate to, not necessarily about me”, Eduwoji refuted.
Fans are to watch this space for the video which complements the song from the 2012 Ghana Music Award Nominee of ‘Popular Song the Year’
