The Ghanaian Misconception about make-ups

makeupThe act of enhancing ones look is a normal phenomenon for humans. From time past humans have undertaken a lot of measure to make one look good about him or herself. History tells us of various procedures ancient Egyptian queens and princesses  undertook to look good and have enhanced looks.

In today’s world make-up accessories play a vital role in the lives of many women especially and some few little men. Why you surprised?  Ask the men who come on screen?  That’s a topic for another day. Back to what I was saying before your mind took a different drive.

Today’s woman has a new necessity called the make-up accessories. Although I can’t name all one by one I don’t have anything personal with using any of that. As a man I love to see a woman who have used these products and accessories in the correct proportions it just works that magic for me and am going to really look twice or even give you a wink.

But some women really have a problem and that’s when they use their face either as colouring books or painting boards. Madams a lot of you are scaring a lot of husband potentials and friends away. Fashion application is always dependent on the individual because what works for someone might not work for the other. Some just follow blindly not to even talk about the fake products they use.

Have you ever watched pictures taken at events and uploaded on the net? Wooow some so called celebs sometimes just look like masquerades and one thing I do ask myself is don’t they have mirror’s at home, or no one lives with them to say hey you looking like a clown in clothes?

A make-up artist is just telling me make-up should be done depending on the time and event. That some don’t work well during the night and some during the day. I bet a lot of women don’t know all you wanna do is paint your face cos you living in the city. Just stressing city men. What have we done for such horror faces during the day?

See, go to chorkor, la and osu those areas you think they are not city inclined and  you will be marvelled how the old women there rock the make-up you gonna love it although they might not be even using expensive ones, so if old women are getting it right which excuse do you have as a young lady to use

your face as class one colouring book and when you are 40 without a husband you go worrying the pastors , pray for me pray for me. Pray for your make up madam. Or better still get married to your make up jooor.

Just remember make-up can make or unmake you, just use it to your advantage.
