Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II invites Sarkodie to Manhyia Palace

Michael Owusu Addo, known in the Showbiz circles as Sarkodie is arguably one Ghanaian Artist who is enjoying a cheetah pace success since his float on the Musical Stream. From his affiliation with Konvict Music, his Ambassadorial roles with Samsung and Fanmilk Ghana Limited, fans mention his name and suffix it with ‘you know say money no be problem!’
The BET Award winner (Sarkodie) who is also a son of the Ashanti Region was invited by the King of the Ashante land, Otumfuo Osei Tutu the 2nd. The meeting between the King of Ashante Empire (Otumfuo Osei Tutu) and King of Ghana Music (Sarkodie) took place at the Palace of the Ashanti Kingdom, Manhyia in Kumasi.
Detailing www.233times.net , Fred X, a senior colleague at Team Sarkodie said this invitation was given to Sarkodie by Otumfuo Osei Tutu to have a chat with him. “He personally invited him to have talks with him” in his own words, Fred X said.
At the Manhyia Palace to meet the 62 year old King of Ashanti Region this afternoon were Sammy Forson, Director OJ, Angel, Black who together make up the management team and the Rapperholic himself, the invitee, Sarkodie.
The excited Sarkodie who could not hide the joy of being invited to the Palace tweeted to his 123.976 followers on Twitter “Hmmm. Just wanted to wait till I confirm. So Otumfuor Osei Tutu Asante hene did invite me today… Hmm now dining with royalties”. He further tweeted that “Manhyia Palace now….. Great feeling”
“This is more a way of Otumfuo congratulating Sarkodie for making the Ashanti Kingdom proud with his enormous success in music” Fred, whose details upon which this story was written ended.
