Black Stars Defender John Paintsil Arrested for Stabbing his Wife [REPORT]

According to media reports, veteran Black Star defender, John Paintsil has been arrested by the Legon Police for allegedly assaulting his wife at his Trassaco residence in Accra.
The incident occurred after a misunderstanding occurred between John Paintsil and his wife (Richlove Painstil) over an amount of GHC 20,000. It was later revealed upon futher investigation by the Greater Accra PRO of Police, DSP Freeman Tettey that John Paintsil actually stabbed his wife.
John Paintsil will however be arraigned before court for the act and could be charged with domestic violence charges.
