With his spectacular performances at TV3 Mentor II which surfaced his staggering talent to Ghana, Nii, formerly known as Joe has been a persistent songster since. He was umbrelled under the RnB-Soul with African fusion genre of music which he was pointed with a ‘yoo-man’ finger.
‘Monife’, ‘Sunshine’ among others are some songs which really buttressed his welcome into the top echelon talents of the Music Industry. Nii is now a Gospel Artist who has switched from Secular Music to Gospel as a calling from God. The obedient Nii has shunned a management which signed him and has spent over $20,000 on him already.
“This calling was from God to do Gospel and it has been all joy since the calling” the born again Nii said. In a further explanation why the new single which features Cwesi Oteng with the title ‘Count it all Joy’ Nii added that, “since I came into Christ and doing his works, it has been all comfortable and encourage everyone to come into the Lord”
Undeniably, Nii is one talent Ghana can top up revenues of the country with. His talent is one amazing type that gives him a royal treat wherever I it is demonstrated. Project Fame which was organized in Nigeria of which he came second is a single proof to it.
Speaking further, Evangelist Nii quotes Romans 8:28 “And we all know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
Buttressing his switch to Gospel Music, Nii who was full of the word of God couldn’t speak in this interview without quotations from the Bible. Evangelist Nii further quoted Romans 1:17 “For in the Gospel the righteous of God is revealed. A righteous that is by faith from first to last just as it is written. The righteous will live by faith”.
So the next time you go on your Personal Computer or ipod, resave where you grouped Nii initially. The old songs can enjoy a royal treat where you saved them already but the new ones, from ‘Count it all Joy’ onwards should be saved under Gospel Genre.
