Lil’ Wayne Says He Has Epilepsy

images (2)We feel weird saying ‘sizzurp’ because it’s such an absurd word, but it’s basically cough syrup mixed with Sprite or Mountain Dew and pieces of Jolly Rancher candy. The codeine will get you high, and it’saddictive.

Lil’ Wayne says his seizure had nothing to do with an addiction to this, but is in fact epilepsy.

Here’s what he said, after saying he was back to 100%:

“This wasn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh…I have had a bunch of seizures, you just never hear about them.”

The seizure that sent him to the hospital was a little different, though, as it was actually a cluster of three seizures in a row:

“My heart rate went down to 30 percent. I have people around me who know how to handle it. This time was real bad because I had three back to back and the third one was so bad.”

But is it really epilepsy, or is a dependency on the purple drank?

He ignored that thought completely and claimed it was “plain stress and no rest. That’s just typical me.”

Well, if it WAS just that, we’re glad he’s going to take a while off to rest and rela– just kidding, he’s going on a summer tour for another round of his America’s Most Wanted Music Festival, which includes 40 event dates across America.

We don’t want to see you hurt, Weezy! Take a break!
