American Singer Keri Hilson prepares fufu

keri-hilson-455x280Late May last year, Ghana witnessed a musical blessing from America’s extraordinary Singer, Actress and Songwriter Keri Hilson. She dazzled the audience at the Dome with her hit songs and amazing performances.

One culture from Ghana the Singer demonstrated to Ghanaians was the latest dance trend in Ghana, Azonto. She amazed the fans with her rudimentary ‘Azonto’ moves.

Not only did she ‘steal’ the dance from Ghana to galvanize her stage crafts, she as well learnt the preparation of some local dishes, particularly fufu from the African soil.

Fufu is to Western and Central Africa cooking whilst mashed potatoes are to traditional European-American cooking.. It is complemented with soup and in some rare cases, stew.

Her African NBA player Boyfriend Serge Ibaka might have been the reason Keri Hilson prepared the fufu.

Keri Hilson on Instagram posted to her followers “Making fufu is a reaaal workout! You gotta put your back onto it”
