“Ticket prices for Ghana Music Awards are too expensive” fans cry

805061534_49491-360x250 images (2)With the revelation of the price for the tickets of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, there have been myriad reactions from the public particularly the fans of the biggest Award event in Ghana.

With the ground floor which is the VIP going for GH¢200 and the Upper Terrance or the standard, GH¢100 respectively, the youth, who form the majority of the audience annually have expressed disgust at the prices.

Some people assert that, the small capacity of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) is the reason for making the organizers of the Awards strategically reap profit.

“Regardless of the capacity of the new venue chosen for the event, the Organisers should be sensitive as well” an ardent witness of the annual Award ceremony told www.233times.net

“We were estimating something close to that but not exactly that” another worried-yearning-to-witness fan spewed.

The Ghana Music Awards, head sponsored by Vodafone will be held at the Accra International Conference Centre on May 18, 2013.

Artistes like Sarkodie, Efya, R2Bees, Amandzeba, Herty Borngreat, EL, Asem, Keche, Manifest, Wizkid among others will musically treat the audience with their popular songs.

Tickets could be bought at Charter House, X-Men and Koala Supermarkets
