Captain Planet of 4X4 proposes to Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone, Uche Ofodile

913404410_189888Captain Planet, leader of hiplife trio, 4×4, has formally proposed to his heartthrob, Uche Ofodile, Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Ghana.

The rapper, known in real life as Jeff Sylvanus Dodji, after years of speculations confirmed in April that: “Yes I am dating Uche. She is beautiful, lovely and caring, and I’m so proud of her.”

To make his love for bubbly Uche official, Captain Planet surprised her with a diamond studded ring and the question: “Will you marry me?” Saturday morning, which also happens to be Uche’s birthday.

Obviously hit with the biggest surprise of her life and also beaming with smiles, Uche did not hesitate to utter the response, “Yes I [will].”

Captain Planet, who had been busily touring some parts of the world including attending the Cannes Film Festival in France, the Champions League final in London and the Industry Night in Nigeria, made sure he was in town in time for the special day.

322797319_560271Jeff Sylvanus Dodji had revealed during the April interview that their love relationship is not a fiction and that “we are getting married soon. We are in the process.”

According to him, their wedding “will happen here [in Accra] live and coloured.”

Pushed further on how soon Ghanaians should expect the wedding, Captain Planet said a date has not been set yet but “when we settle on the date, I will let you know.”

Well from Saturday’s surprise, Myjoyonline.com is picking up hints that the big wedding could be soon.
