This Reporter woke up to 13 missed calls from close friends in the Showbiz Circles of which Nii’s (formerly Joe of TV3 Mentor and Project Fame) was 4. The news they wanted on www.233times.net was to share with the world that, Ghana‘s population has been increased.

When this Reporter returned the call, the first thing from the elated and latest father in the world was “Bro e be she ooo. Wifey born”. Not ending there, he continued in pidgin language “I ping u aaaa but then e no they come through. I call you too aaa you no pick”.

Christened Lyric Naa Dodua Ankrah, the less than a day old baby was delivered at Rahma Maternity Home, a private Hospital at Tantra Hill, a suburb of Accra at 11:30 pm on June 6. According to both parents, Lyric was delivered at “a perfect time” given by the doctors during the scan.

Nii, composer of ‘Count it all joy’, ‘Sun Shine’ etc who was present at the labour ward to witness his first child birth, said “it is a beautiful thing to see the delivery of a child”. On his personal message on Blackberry Messenger, Nii has “Jesus just gave me a beautiful girl. I bless you Jesus. #chuku d’Ebube”

Congratulatory messages have flooded Nii’s page from his colleague ‘Showbizers’ like Lamisi of Ghana’s Most beautiful, Adez of Mentor, this Reporter among others.

Both mother and baby are said to be doing very well even though they are still on admission at the hospital.

Don’t forget, the population of Ghana has been increased by Nii so be accurate when mentioning it.
