Juventus have confirmed the signing of Carlos Tevez from Manchester City on a three-year deal.
Tevez travelled to Italy for talks and a medical on Wednesday after Juventus agreed a fee of around £10million for the Argentine.
The 29-year-old has agreed personal terms and passed his medical to end his four-year spell at the Etihad Stadium.
Tevez has been handed the famous number 10 shirt at Juventus and he will be officially unveiled by the Italian champions on Thursday.
Tevez revealed upon his arrival in Italy that he had rejected interest from AC Milan to make the move to Juventus.
The move ends Tevez’s seven-year stay in England after spells with West Ham, Manchester United and City.
Tevez’s departure leaves City with only two recognised strikers in the squad with Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko remaining at the Etihad Stadium.
City did not confirm the news until Thursday morning but they wished him well on his move to Italy.
“Everyone at Manchester City wishes Carlos the best of luck in Italy and thanks him for his important contributions,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
