Prez Mahama sets up Committee for Late Prez Mills’ 1 year Anniversary

Ghana’s President, Mr. John Mahama has set up a committee to draw up programmes and plans toward marking the first anniversary of the death of Late President John Evans Atta Mills.

The committee is chaired by Mr. Kofi Totobi-Quakyi and has its Secretariat at the State Protocol Office in Accra.

The Late president passed away in the afternoon of Tuesday July 24, 2012.

He was 68 years and said to have died from an acute cardiac arrest.

His death came shortly after Parliament announced that he was leaving for Nigeria that same day.
