The 26-year-old will be moving to district rivals Bochum as talks between The Royal Blues and the former have reached an advanced stage
Ghana international Anthony Annan is set to move to VFL Bochum as talks between Schalke and Bochum have reached an advanced stage, Goal Ghana understands.
The 26-year-old midfield enforcer has failed to find his foot since signing for The Miners after the 2010 World Cup, and has been on loan at Vitesse Arnheim and Osasuna.
“Discussions between Schalke and Bochum are at an advanced stage, and Schalke have agreed to offload Annan to their district rivals,” a source close to the player hinted Goal Ghana from Germany.
“Annan has one year left on his Schalke contract and will be sold outright to Bochum.”
Schalke paid two million Euros for the services of Annan from Norwegian club Rosenborg, but has failed to impress under coach Felix Maggath leading to a loan spell on two occasions.
