Yesterday was exactly one year Ruff n Smooth’s Ahkan and her year-old wifey, Tracy walked down the aisle to say to each other they will spend the rest of their lives together. Congratulatory messages inundated their Social Media pages from friends and loved ones.
Speaking to the ‘neck’ of the marriage Mrs. Tracy Hendrix Baah-Fooh, she detailed this Reporter about how far they have come and what is yet to come. Touching on how they started dating three years back, Tracy mentioned that “the thing that has kept us and still keeps us bonded is trust and our friendship. We are husband and wife and best friends”.
Detailing further, she added that, “the thing about marriage that youths don’t get is that marriage isn’t perfect and no one is an expert if you say you gonna wait till you are ready. They should know there is no such thing as being ready. It’s all about faith and God. Once you in it, you can overcome all obstacles with God”.
This Reporter wanting to know more from the year-old marriage some fundamentals of marriage particularly the Baah-Foh’s, asked the model cum presenter what in her own view and experience are the fundamentals of marriage. She posited that “patience, trust, understanding and mostly LOVE” are the fundamentals of every marriage.
With her 3 years dating experience before marriage, Tracy had this to share from her view concerning the ills in contemporary relationships. “What I see wrong in relationships with youth today is people are afraid to commit. People now days rather date many people than settle down with 1 person. Failure to commit shows the lack of trust and love people have for one another”.
“My advice I have for the youths especially the young girls is take your time to get to know someone before dating or even getting married because relationships can change a person’s life positively or negatively. Love is an emotion and it isn’t force. You cannot force someone to love you or marry you. Time patience and prayers is the key. Remember God in all you do” Mrs. Tracy Baah-Foh shared this matured advice with all www.233times.net Readers.
