Italian champions Juventus have rejected Levante’s bid to sign Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom.
The Spanish La Liga side wanted a season-long loan deal with the first option to buy the player.
Juventus coach Antonio Conte is expecting Boakye to join his pre-season training after his rest days having played for Ghana at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey.
Conto wants to assess the promising forward again before deciding on whether to either retain or farm him out.
Boakye scored 11 goals for Sassuolo last season and helped the Emilia-based club to qualify to the Serie A.
He is co-owned by Juventus and fellow Serie A contenders Genoa.
