Ghanaian Celebrities to win Souls for Christ through ‘Neighbourhood Evangelism Tour’ on 1st Nov

IMG-20131012-WA000During the time the publicity was running for the 2nd ‘Neighbourhood Evangelism’, friends kept asking if that was not a scene a Producer was shooting for a movie. “You mean Majid Michel, Timothy Bentum, Prince David Osei etc are going to tell us about God?” a friend asked in amazement.

The Actors, Presenters, Professionals and Musicians for Christ (APPMC) is a Non- denominational Christian body that seeks to win souls for Christ via Popular Faces and voices. This could be best described as “using the fan base of the Celebrities on bill as a springboard to tell them about God and bringing them closer to God”. This will be the 4th time the Evangelism ‘bus’ would make a stop at another Neigbourhood; East Legon and Spintex have had their share of Evangelism already.

At the Perez Chapel on 1st November, 4:30 PM, Majid Michel, Maa Afia, Timothy Bentum, Nii Soul, Bernard Taylor, Funny Face, Prince David Osei, Ruddy Kwakye, Fiifi Banson, Piesie Esther, Eddie Nartey, Jeremie Van Garshon, Ken Fiati, Min. Kofi, Joe Mettle, Qweci Oteng, Godwin Boah and Nana Asamoah will in turn tell the congregation/fans about God.

Speaking to the Timothy Bentum from whose ‘sperm’ this Evangelism group is birth, he said “We are to fill an auditorium of 5,000 capacity. If you have been to Perez Chapel before you will know what I am talking about. We are upgrading on previous sessions and this time, people will experience the power of God more”

In addition will be the outdooring of Timothy Bentum Ministries. Asking Timothy whether he is now a full time Pastor, the Actor corrected this Reporter that “It is a calling, I don’t want to call myself a Pastor but an Evangelist. It is everyone’s duty to evangelise the word of God and I am doing mine” He also added that he has not quitted acting.

Just imagine Majd Michel leading worship and praises after which will follow Funny Face ushering the congregation into reciting a born again verse and Prince David Osei preaching from the book of Ephesians. This is an epitome of what will happen on 1st November at Perez Chapel . Bookmark the date in your dairies and make a date to share in this epic event.
