How to get sweet and fresh breath

  1. 1

Rinse your mouth with warm – hot water. The temperature should be about the temperature at which you would drink a hot drink. This kills some of the germs, making for a good start.

  2. Clean your teeth:
    • Squeeze a little bit of mint or other freshly scented toothpaste onto a toothbrush (electric gives a deeper clean).
    • Rub thoroughly around your teeth for 2 – 3 minutes.
    • Spit out.
  3. 3

Rinse your mouth with hot water again.

  4. 4

    Use mouthwash.

    • Pour 20ml of the wash into your mouth.
    • Rinse around your mouth for 30 seconds.
    • Gargle.
    • Spit out.
  5. 5

Rinse around your mouth with water, hot or cold.

  6. 6

Chew on some mints constantly for five minutes. This will give your breath a minty odour. If you don’t want minty breath, eat strawberries instead. Both have been proven to give fresher breath.

  7. Use some mouth spray. This will just fortify the freshness.
