The unbearable economic situation facing the country has made Songsters coin the phrase ‘boys abr3’ to simply express how hard it is to pull through a day. The phrase which has even creeped its way into the corridors of Parliament has as well being the only choice for Reggae-Dancehall Artiste Original Shana.
The Artiste who is known for his excellent Dancehall delivery made it known to www.233times.net that the motivation behind the song is the hardship facing the country. In his own words, Original Shana said “the pressure in town for the youth with no jobs hence no money for living motivated me to be the mouth piece of the poor”
Produced by Dr. Ray of Globewaves Studios, the song starts with Original Shana advising that “this song is for the ghetto youths hustling in the streets, one day your time go come!” He further details how much of a migraine it is to be poor.
Even though Original Shana mentions that there is economic hardship, he made it known that without hardship one cannot make it. “No room for laziness” he simply puts.
