The Ghana international came under a lot of pressure at the back as the attacking duo of the Spanish side kept pressing for goals
Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has admitted it “was not easy playing against champions” like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale on Tuesday.
The Ghanaian, who was playing as a guardsman against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, had to put in a great deal of effort to thwart the attacking duo in that 2-2 draw game.
“We did well tonight against a great team. It wasn’t easy, but we did the right things,” Asamoah told Sky Sport Italia.
He added: “It was tough against players like Ronaldo and Bale, with such pace and technique, but I did what I had to.
“I saw that when Carlos Tevez cut in, there was space for me to push forward, so we could create some chances.”
