A lady believed to be in her late 20s did the unthinkable last Sunday when she allegedly poured hot water into the private part of 26-year-old Aisha Amadu at Apremdo near Takoradi.
We gathered that Aisha, a native of the Upper East Region, had visited her brother at Apremdo when the unfortunate incident happened.
According to sources, the suspect, whose name was given only as Regina and at large, is the girl friend of Aisha’s brother.
The source continued that last Sunday, Regina was visiting her boyfriend at his resident at Apremdo and met Aisha in the house. Regina then enquired from the boyfriend what Aisha was to him.
The boyfriend was reported to have told Regina that Aisha was his sister and that she had come from their hometown to visit him for some days.
DAILY GUIDE learnt that the explanation did not satisfy Regina so she insisted that Aisha should go away but she refused and in the process a brawl ensued between them.
Regina was said to have picked a sharp knife around and inflicted some wounds on Aisha who fell unconscious with her legs apart.
“When Regina saw that Aisha had opened her legs, she quickly took a bowl containing hot water and poured it in the private parts of Aisha resulting in some bruises on Aisha’s thighs”, the source alleged.
It continued that after committing the offence, Regina took to his heels while Aisha was rushed to a hospital near Kwesimintsim. A source at the hospital told DAILY GUIDE that Aisha was responding to treatment.
