John-Mahama-Now-President-Of-GhanaInformation reaching us indicates that President John Dramani Mahama has cancelled his three-day India visit which was supposed to have begun on Sunday, 10th November due to “pressing” domestic developments.

The Ministry for External Affairs Spokesperson, Syed Akbaruddin told the Indian media that the government of Ghana had conveyed to India that the President will not be able to visit India and new dates for the visit will be worked out.

“We have received a communication from government of Ghana that due to pressing domestic developments, President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama will not be able to visit India,” he said.

The tape went viral on the internet and social networking sites with newspapers quoting verbatim the comments contained thereof.
