1st Lady is blowing too much cash – CPP Youth Organiser

download (10)The former National Youth Organizer of the Convention People Party (CPP), Mr. James Kwabena Bonfeh, has expressed grave concern at the way and manner the First Lady, Lordina Mahama is blowing huge amounts of money on donations to certain institutions in the country.

“The First lady seems to be making donations costing huge sums of money in recent times and one would wonder where this money is coming from. Today, she is donating this, tomorrow she is donating that; is she paid as a First Lady?” Mr. Bonfeh, alias Kabila, has wondered.

Kabila’s concerns are in reaction to the 40 boxes of food supplements the first lady presented to the National Association of People Living with AIDS (NAP+) recently.

According to him, it is about time government defined the role of the office of the First Lady for Ghanaians to know.

Speaking to the Daily Searchlight newspaper, Kabila indicated that it has become necessary for government to state the role of the office of the First Lady to define the role the office plays in the affairs of this country and whether the First Lady is being paid monthly salary.

“We need to know – or does the First Lady; all of a sudden become a public servant because her husband is elected as President of this country?” Kabila question.

Earlier this year, Mrs. Lordina Mahama donated RLG branded computers to her Alma Mater, Ghana Senior High School (Ghanasco) in Tamale in the Northern Region.
