Ashiaman Assembly Member accused of trafficking women from Lagos to Ghana

imagesThe Assembly Member for the Tsinai Agbeh Electoral Area in Ashaiman, Moses Atteh Osabutey has refuted allegations that he is involved in the trafficking women from Lagos to Ghana.

“The ladies are old enough to come into the country themselves,” he said.

The Tsinai Agbeh Electoral Area in Ashaiman is allegedly an area which habours most prostitutes and criminals within the Ashaiman Municipality.

Mr. Osabutey in an interview with Citi News’ Tema correspondent, Elvis Washington, denied allegations describing them as untrue and unfounded.

“If they have any doubts, they can come around and interview some of the opinion leaders or some of the landlords to know if I am involved in anything of this nature,” he said.

According to him, the only time he came into contact with some of the women were in extreme cases when the ladies needed help.
