FROM 2014: Allowances of Trainee Nurses halted!

download (1)Credible information reaching the corridors of www.233times.net has it that government will halt the payment of allowances to Nursing Trainees in Ghana starting 2014 so the trainees should not rely on them in the coming month and beyond. 

The incentive which used to be extended to Teacher Trainees as well was instituted to magnet people into the two sectors (health work and education)

Already, the Trainee Nurses have started agitating; mentioning that the withdrawal could and would affect the health services immensely.

Starting 2014, no Trainee Nurse would be entitled to allowances; it is scraped by government.
