Magreth Shikuyele makes Namibia Proud with Next Movie Star

Magreth-ShikuyeleThe Next Movie Star reality show, which is themed ‘Call To Stardom,’ saw Namibian promising actress, Magreth Shikuyele, who originated from the coastal town of Walvis Bay Namibia, winning the 3rd position.

Magreth Shikuyele, a young, vibrant, sexy and cute diva, revealed to the media how excited she was when she had the opportunity to be part of The Next Movie Star reality show; before the show even started.

On record, Magreth Shikuyele is the first Namibian actress to represent her country (Namibia) in The Next Movie Star reality show and thus, with a steadfast will power and determination, she has successfully made her country proud by winning the 3rd position.

Magreth, who is popularly known in Namibia as Maggy, holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting (Honours) at the University of Namibia. Despite her accounting background, Maggy intimated that aside everything, acting and movies, remain her first love and one of her major priorities in life.

“I wish to fight hard to make sure that I help the Namibian film industry gets to its peak,” elated Maggy revealed. Maggy, who loves relaxing, reading, eating and ‘flexing,’ holds acting very close to her heart.

In conclusion, Magreth Shikuyele said she heard about The Next Movie Star Africa through actress Tonto Dikeh’s interview on ‘The Juice’ and decided to enter for the competition. To her utter dismay, she gave it a try and today, here she is as a success story.

Nineteen (19) African countries housemates were selected from Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, the Gambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, and South Africa for the reality show, but at the end of the journey, Feyisekemi Akinwale emerged The Winner of The Next Movie Star and was rewarded with a brand new Suv, cash prize and movie roles; whilst Magreth emerged the 3 runner up.
