Mc Dementor’s ‘Langalanga’ ft Stonebwoy hijacks airwaves

mc-dementorIt takes an artiste with good music and great artistic value to break into the Ghanaian music industry. Following radio and TV shows for some time now, I’ve realized one foreign song which keeps playing over and over.

It’s uncommon for a Colombian song to gain much airplay in Ghana but ‘Langalanga’, a song by Columbian star MC Dementor and Decordha has made its way through and has become most Ghanaian DJs and radio presenters’ favorite.  After the song went viral, the song which features Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and Nastou has become the jingle of many radio stations in Ghana as they keep playing it on rotation.

TV stations in the country have also been playing this song which makes people ask if Mc Demantor and his management have also paid them since Ghanaian musicians are charged huge sums of money before their songs are shown on TV.

The Colombian act is in talks with American rapper Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr., known by his stage names Snoop Doggy Dogg, Snoop Dogg, and more recently Snoop Lion.

Mc Demantor is signed on Soulja Boy’s SODMG Record label.
