R2Bees land deal with Star Beer as Ambassadors

downloadThe musical duo, R2BEES, has landed a deal with Star Beer to be brand ambassadors for the beer brand produced by Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited.

Star Beer launched the new promotional campaign, ‘it’s who we are’, with the award winning hiplife sensation on December 5, 2013 at the Excel Nite Club in Accra.

Speaking at the launch, Rwamibango, Herve-Sacha, Marketing Manager (Lagers) of GGBL said the campaign is aimed at encouraging “Ghanaians to blend [Ghana’s] tradition of respect, integrity, belief in self-worth in their approach as they face their future”.

The campaign with one of Ghana’s leading hip-life groups, R2BEES, will be promoted on Television, Radio, Outdoor and Press as well as on the digital platform.

GGBL believes R2BEES’ inspiration to all Ghanaians to take charge of their lives to meet their aspirations truly represents Star Beer.

“R2BEES’ respect and infusion of Ghanaian style into their lyrics and music bridges the past and present, encouraging Ghanaians to bring their past into their future their Ghanaian values with them”, a statement from GGBL noted.

Declining to reveal the amount involved in the contract with Star Beer, R2BEES however expressed pride to be associated with the lager.

“The Star campaign reflects our personal belief and core values: the importance of incorporating our Ghanaian tradition and culture into the future and all that we do…it’s who we are”, said Mugees .
