Doom awaits NPP should the party swap Nana Addo for a new candidate – NPP Scribe

wpid-nana_addo2Doom awaits the New Patriotic Party, should the party swap Nana Akufo Addo for a new presidential candidate ahead of the 2016 general elections.
In an observation made by a former Member of Parliament for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency, P.C. Appiah Ofori, he stated that their 2012 presidential candidate held the lifeline of the party.
“Without Nana Addo, the NPP would be in opposition for life”, he predicted on Okay FM.

According to him, if the party decides to cut the umbilical cord of Nana Addo at this time, then without the consultation of a soothsayer, he can boldly state that their portion is eternal opposition. He explained that Nana Addo’s political activities pumped political life into the party and this kept them afloat to rock shoulders with the “powerful” NDC.

He urged them to maintain Nana Addo for 2016 if it is their aim to be vibrant and in 2016 and beyond.
