Fans of DJ Mynor disappointed in Ghana DJ Awards Organisers

IMG_0062There have been barrage of cries and expressions of disappointment from the public since the Organisers of the Ghana DJ Awards publicized the nominations for 2014 DJ Awards. Though lengthy enough to cover the whole of this story, one of the popular groans on Social Media which caught the attention of www.233times.net is fans of DJ Myor expressing disappointment in the event.

According to fans, one of the most hailed mixtapes last year is ‘Apawahene Afrobeats  Mixtape Vol 1’ hosted by DJ Mynor. The cocktail mixtape had Artistes from the continents on it; Nigeria, South Africa, Ivory Coast etc. “If for nothing at all, this mixtape should have been nominated. When at all will Ghana Awards be credible” A disappointed fan wrote on Facebook.

“Who didn’t hear of DJ Mynor on most shows last year? So why wasn’t he nominated for Event DJ of the year also at least?” Another rhetorically asked. In our investigations, DJ Mynor was on big shows like’R2Bees and Wizkid Live in Tamale,’ ‘J. Martins and Sale Bobo live in Tamale,’ ‘R2Bees Appreciation Concerts’ etc, big events which had over 10,000 attendees each.

Although DJ Mynor was nominated for the ‘Artiste DJ of the Year,’ the ‘Oliver Twist’ fans of the Tema resident DJ are positing it is not enough!

DJ Mynor is the personal DJ of R2Bees and to vote for Dj Mynor1 as Best Artiste DJ, text 11B to 1736. On twitter, vote by mentioning @Djmynor1 #BestArtisteDj #ghanadjawards
