Winger Andre Ayew has been given a “world-class” tag by his Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah.
The Olympic Marseille player has been very consistent with his influential performances for the Black Stars since 2010.
The 24-year-old, who is currently recuperating from an injury, will be expected to maintain his fine form at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil this summer.
“Andre is a world-class player. And the good thing about him that all Ghanaians love is that when the team is down, he pushes everyone to fight,” Appiah told Fifa.com.
The former Ghana Under-20 captain will be making his second World Cup appearance after helping Ghana to reach the quarter-finals at the 2010 edition in South Africa.
