PHOTOS: How Takoradi celebrated Christmas; Fancy dress and street carnivals

Takoradi is one Metropolis in Ghana noted for lavish Christmas and New Year. Already, there is a popular perception that Fantes are best when it comes to spending big and enjoyment (chilling). It wasn’t different this year as the Oil City (new name of Takoradi) was decorated with Fancy Dress and Street Carnivals. The Popular Skyy Street Carnival organised by Skyy Group of Companies came off last year (26th December, 2013) at the Amanful-Star-Hotel Street. A total of 20 Fancy Dress groups displayed at the carnival. Enjoy the images below:
