The Dynamo Zagreb defender strongly believes going to the World Cup with Ghana is almost a done deal for him
Ghana international Lee Addy is highly optimistic of making it to the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
The versatile defender was part of Ghana’s squad for the last Mundial in South Africa and played full time against Australia and came in as a late substitute against United States.
The former Red Star Belgrade player believes he will make the cut again for Brazil 2014.
“I can say that I am 99 percent sure that I will travel with Ghana to the World Cup in Brazil,” the Dynamo Zagreb guardsman told Jutarnji. “When I was on holiday in Ghana, I spoke with the coach. He told me to continue my performances and I am a legitimate candidate for Brazil.”
He added: “They know in Ghana that Dynamo Zagreb is a big club and that when you play at this club you deserve a place in the World Cup squad.”
Addy has not played for the Black Stars for almost two years now.
