Residents of Adum Banso in the Mpohor District of the Western Region are still in a state of mourning and utter bewilderment following the tragic death of a young adult from the community who fell off from a moving track to death. The deceased, Raymond Atta Baidoo, a past student of St John’s School in Sekondi and a worker at BOPP was in the company of other youths from BOPP who were making a short trip to an adjoining community to engage the youth from NORPALM, another oil palm company in a friendly soccer match on sunday afternoon, March 9, 2014.
An unimpeachable report reaching me indicates Raymond who was among those sitting at the back of the truck fell when the Truck was negotiating a curve resulting in his demise. The body has been deposited at the ENRH, Sekondi for autopsy. He was a member of the indomitable St John’s school Football Team in 2012.
