Find out: Timetable for Load-shedding (dumsor dumsor)
At long last, the time table for the load-shedding is out. Released via the Public Relations office of the Electricity of Ghana, William Boateng, the Company’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), said on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 that the time table is for two weeks.
As per the schedule, households will go off for 12 hours and have power stability for 48 hours.
The timetable has been regionalised with groupings so that areas in one group will go off at the same time. Only the northern regions including Brong Ahafo Region have not been included in the guide.
According to ECG’s PRO, the timetable is temporary, and is expected to be updated with information from engineers working on Ghana’s power plants.
Below is the list of areas to be affected in the Accra Region. Please identify your group according to the best description of your location.
