Mentor 2 and Project Fame icon, Nii Soul, formerly known as Joe has revealed to www.233times.net how some churches are attacking him for featuring Edem on his new song ‘Love.’ Nii Soul who was formerly doing secular music is now a full time Gospel Artiste.

Speaking to www.233times.net, the father of 1, Nii Soul said he was queried by some Pastors and his colleague urban gospel Artistes why he collaborated with a secular Artiste on a song. “That means you are encouraging people to think it is OK to listen to their music” Nii Soul lamented.

“Would you believe some of them don’t even want to have anything to do with me kraa?” Nii rhetorically asked. According to the RnB Soul fused with African rhymes Songster, featuring Edem was a direction by God so he had to heed to the revelation given him.

Detailing www.233times.net , Nii Soul says “When I told them (attackers) that God gave me 3 names and 3 different secular Artistes to put on it, they said it’s a lie but the Holy Spirit doesn’t agree with that. Edem is one of the names God gave me and I have done according to the will of my Creator.  I know this would happen because God told me even before it did. The other 2 songs with the secular Artistes are almost ready but I cannot disclose the names for now.”

He quoted Luke 21: 12 – 19 positing that, that sums up what he is going through now. Nii Soul refused to mention the names of his attackers saying that is not really necessary.
