VIDEO: Charter House says Davido took GHc80 and challenges Shatta Wale to provide evidence or shut up!

Would you be surprised to learn that Davido did not charge a dime to perform at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2014 and was given per diem of GHC 80.00 a day for 2 days? Would you believe others took GHC 50.00 as per diem for 2 days?

“It is not just Shatta who has made allegations about VGMA organisation doling out [huge] sums of money to Nigerian artistes. Now the practice in Nigeria … is that a lot of the time, for awards that are designed to honour them, they [Nigerian artistes] do not really charge. For those that even charge, it’s not their professional fees that they are charged,” George Quaye said at the post media soiree for this year’s awards.
