Daniel Opare to critics: Open your eyes and watch the game again

8336bba013f17c17295ae378fba1c334_LGhana defender Daniel Opare has descended on his critics saying, “it’s time people open their eyes and watch the game objectively before passing judgements”.

Speaking in an interview with the GNA Sports, Opare disagreed with his critics who accused him of a woeful performance against United States of America.

“People are not being fair in their assessments, because I did most of the work with Atsu in our first game.

“Go and watch the video again and you will realise my critics were wrong in their assessments.

“I admit that there were some errors on my part, but I don’t see it as woeful as people are describing.

“I sincerely believe I put up the best of performance on the day, but it was just unfortunate we lost the game,” he stated.

Opare, however, stated that, he was not  undaunted by the attacks on him.

According to the Belgium-based player, he does not listen to radio or read such criticisms in the media because it does not make any impact on his life.

“I’m doing my work and that’s all. I will remained focus and will not be detracted by what people say”.
