Ghana will fight Germany till death – Kevin-Prince Boateng

Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has insisted the Black Stars will fight till their last drop of blood against Germany on Saturday at the World Cup.

He added that the hungrier side will emerge victorious as the Africans seek to record their first point after succumbing to a 2-1 defeat to USA in the opening Group G game in Natal.

“It’s like in ancient Rome. There will be people around the pitch who want to see how two teams fight,” Boateng told Sport Bild. “The team who wants it more will win and we will fight to the death against Germany.”

The 27-year-old Schalke star, who opted to play for Ghana in 2010, has been on the nerves of Joachim Low’s side labeling them as disappointment when much is expected of them, noting that he is not worried if the coach uses his words as a motivation against him and Ghana.

“Whenever things matter, they don’t make it. Loew can hang these sentences on the wall with pleasure,” insisted Boateng. “This isn’t a game-related opinion, more like something fundamental.”

Boateng has played 11 times for Ghana scoring two goals.
