Ja Rule says he’s beaten 50 Cent up with a bat and a crutch on different occasions.
Ja Rule recalls his feud with 50 Cent in his book, Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Being a Man, according to NY Daily News.
In 2000, Ja Rule says he was involved in a fight with 50.
“50 tried to swing on me, but I dipped, then I hit him with the baby Louisville Slugger,” Ja Rule writes. “Bam! I dropped the bat. I pulled the shirt over his head. I started catching him left, right, uppercut.”
Ja Rule says 50 Cent’s entourage ran from the situation.
Rule also says he also beat 50 Cent up with a crutch he got from someone in his camp with a broken foot at the time.
“I hit him with the crutch,” he says. “We proceeded to whip his ass. I was putting in my work. 50 was crunched in the corner. I slammed the big Tannoy speaker down on him.”
Rule also says 50 Cent snitched on him.
“When they [the Feds] asked him who he thought had shot him, it would make sense that 50 would have said, ‘Ja Rule, Irv Gotti and Murder Inc.,’ ” Ja Rule writes about the 2000 incident in which 50 Cent was shot nine times.
50 has denied cooperating with law enforcement officials. Nevertheless, Rule says 50 “secretly led them through his recordings for the answers they were looking for.”
“50 was a crazed man on a mission to destroy me,” he says.
Ja Rule spoke about his feud with 50 Cent in September 2013.
“It was a lot going on in that time frame,” Ja said at the time. “You got the federal indictment. Here’s what it is, it was orchestrated very well. He was a part of the juggernauts at that moment. Eminem, Dre, they were very, very big in what they were doing as well. So, as we were big over on our side they were also big on their side. And as everything started to crumble for us as far as we didn’t have a label home anymore, ya understand? There was a lot of things that were falling apart for us. It was easy for him to get people to turn on. And there was things that were behind the scenes that y’all don’t see that also made us seem more irrelevant. Like we couldn’t go to awards shows.”
