VIDEOS: Prophet predicted on 31st Dec. 2013; Black Stars will qualify to next stage at World Cup

A Kumasi-based prophet, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, says the Black Stars of Ghana will qualify from their difficult Group G for the Round of 16 at the ongoing World Cup in Brazil.

His expectation follows a startling prophecy he delivered at a church service at his Believers Worship Centre at Kenyasi in Kumasi as far back as December 31, 2013 in which he said God had revealed to him that the Black Stars were going all the way to the semi-finals.

Ghana has one point from two matches in the tournament and will play Portugal in a crucial Group G match Thursday June 26.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Prophet Kyei-Duah affirmed his prophecy that God had revealed to him that this year’s World Cup would be the first time an African country was going to reach the semi-finals.

“One loss, one draw, one win. Ghana will go to the next stage of the tournament with four points. Ghanaians have to relax; we’ll get to the semi-finals,” he said.

Prophet Kyei-Duah has published a number of video recordings on Youtube in which he is seen prophesying the outcomes of the USA-Ghana and the Ghana-Germany matches ahead of the encounters.

Both prophecies were correct but the Daily Graphic has not been able to independently verify whether the videos were actually recorded before the matches.

In one of his Youtube videos, Prophet Kyei-Duah was seen telling his congregation on December 31, 2013 that the going would be tough for Ghana, a situation that would bring about a lot of bickering, but he assured them that the end was known already and no one needed to fret.

In the video, he said: “It is the first time an African country will reach the semi-finals,” before proceeding to inquire if there were any nationals of participating African countries in the congregation.

Only Ghanaians responded to the charge and he said that was exactly what he saw, that Ghana would experience ‘one draw, one win and one loss’.

Prophet Kyei-Duah also said he saw in his vision Black Stars Coach Kwasi Appiah being hailed with ribbons of Kente, signaling glory and honour for the humble coach.

When the Daily Graphic called him on Tuesday, he reiterated the prophecies, saying God had never failed him nor lied to him.

Asked about the outcome of the match between Ghana and Portugal in terms of goals, he said in all his 26 years as a prophet, he had always tried to desist from giving details to discourage people from using his prophecies for betting and lottery, which he said were “unholy” and likely to reduce God’s word to “ridicule”.

Asked if anything could pervert the prophecy, he laughed and explained that nothing would change what God had ordained.

“He changeth not, nor faileth not,” he said, and insisted the prophecies that had been revealed to him were for those who believed in God.
